It is, after all, just S.O.P.
If anyone out there in Spokane land is even vaguely interested in seeing “Standard Operating Procedure,” Errol Morris’ intriguing documentary about Abu Ghraib prison , you better go to see it at AMC’s Riverfront Park theaters fast. The movie, which opened Friday, is closing tomorrow night.
That means that it will have played here barely five days. No wonder the Magic Lantern could never make a go of it. We should just be honest about the situation and have round-the-clock showings of “Kung Fu Panda” and “Indiana Jones.”
