GU women set for tourney

We’ve had a few stories involving the Gonzaga women, who play Pepperdine in the first round of the WCC Tournament in a couple of hours (1510-AM on your radio dial, pregame 1:30 p.m.).

The Bulldogs swept every WCC honor (complete list on the league site), led by MVP Heather Bowman , the subject of a feature today.

The Pac-10 honors are out, with Briann January earning Defensive Player of the Year, a new award for the league.
