Workers pulled a large power line through the Monroe Street Dam Wednesday, part of an effort to feed the Kendall Yards development and the West Central neighborhood. Avista Utilities also plans to move overhead lines on the Kendall Yards site into underground vaults.
Kendall Yards developer Marshall Chesrown has said the work will be completed before development of the 78-acre mixed-use development will start.

As we reported last week, Black Rock Development’s Spokane sales office is up for lease or sale before it opened to the public. Construction at Kendall Yards is near enough that Chesrown would rather make an office there, he said.
