Hump Day Wild Card — 3/12/08

I’m still in quite a battle with the bug that I brought back from Denver. In the old days, I’d probably have missed a day or two of work — and then tried to gut out a few days at the desk, propped up with pills and cough medicine. But I quit doing that a few years ago. I figured I get better quicker by staying home. Also, I wouldn’t want to expose my friends at work to this stuff. Then, with the ability I have to post from home, I’ve hardly skipped a beat. I caught another nap this p.m. I’ll probably spend one more day at home before returning to work. This isn’t exactly what I had in mind when I returned from Denver with many happy memories.
