Red State Rebels: Larry Grant Knocked On Doors In ‘06

Rumors don’t just ‘go around’ as in ‘there’s a rumor going around…’ Rumors are spread, they are fueled. There’s a rumor being circulated that in his 2006 campaign for Congress, Larry Grant didn’t do any door-knocking, that he didn’t do the boots on the ground, door-to-door work that a campaign needs to succeed. Let’s look at the facts. Talk to Steve Elgar. Larry spent a day with him and his campaign workers going door-to-door in Sandpoint, talking to the voters there and urging them to vote. Talk to the party members in Bonners Ferry, where Larry went door-to-door with the Boundary County Democrats, working to get out the vote. Talk to Rep. George Sayler.
