Your Colon: Your Business

Thuy

The incredible, inflatable walk-through Super Colon is coming to town for Colorectal Cancer Awareness month. The inflation takes place today. Here’s more information from the news brief from Lisa Leinberger in the Voice:

The Providence Cancer Center at Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital will present the Super Colon, an 8-foot-tall, 20-foot-long replica of a human colon from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Providence Auditorium at Sacred Heart on Ninth and Rockwood. The inflatable, interactive colon will teach visitors about colorectal cancer. Information: 474-5490.

Deputy city editor Dan Hansen thinks the exhibit is cool. “If I were writing this story I’d put in as many colons as possible.”
