Ah’m Your Huckleberry — Passing It Along

Something strangely wonderful was happening at the Highway 41 Starbucks (near Wal*Mart) Wednesday morning. As Taryn Hecker prepared to pay at the drive-through window en route to work, she was told that the person in front of her had paid for her $5.99 mocha and coffee cake already. And that such generosity of other coffee drinkers had been going on all day. Caught up in the pass-it-on spirit, Taryn said she’s pick up the tab for the coffee drinkers behind her — and whipped out a $10 bill. Only to discover that the tab was $11.45. The $10 was all she had. So she whipped out her plastic. In America, you can pass it on and not have to worry about it until the bills come due the following month.

Question: When is the last time you’ve been the beneficiary of someone “passing it on”?
