Rueben Mayes elected to Hall of Fame

WSU running-back legend Rueben Mayes has been selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. He’s the third Cougars player ever to make it, along with Glen “Turk” Edwards (1929-1931) and Mel Hein (1928-1930).

So, it’s been a while for WSU.
