Shock stay unbeaten on Jackson’s game-winning FG
The Spokane Shock sputtered most of the second half on offense, but reserve quarterback Nick Davila directed two fourth-quarter scoring drives and Brian Jackson nailed a game-winning 21-yard field goal with one second left.
Spokane outlasted Lubbock 43-41 on Saturday in Lubbock to hike the Shock’s record to 5-0.
The victory sets up a showdown with Boise next Saturday in Spokane. The Burn (4-1) clobbered Stockton 77-14 for their fourth straight win.
