Spokane Club to renovate Valley location
The Spokane Athletic Club will add two indoor tennis courts, construct new locker rooms and reconfigure the conditioning room at its Spokane Valley location during the first part of a $5 million renovation, club officials announced today.
The initial phase will create a second-floor mezzanine above two updated group exercise rooms, and increase the number of indoor tennis courts at the club, 5900 E. Fourth Ave., to eight, according to a news release. Later phases will “include re-engineering the entry and main body of the building and enhancements to the aquatics area, which will increase the Club’s family-friendly offerings,” the release says.
Remodeling should be completed by late next year.
The Valley club also offers outdoor tennis courts, a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, racquetball courts and fitness classes.
