HBO In Briefs: Flood Watch Alert

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for North Idaho. A flood watch means that flooding is possible but not imminent in the watch area. Unseasonably warm temperatures combined with above normal mountain snow pack are forecast to produce significant rises on the Coeur d’Alene River and Lake Coeur d’Alene. The Coeur d’Alene River at Cataldo is forecast to reach flood stage sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning and is expected to crest at approximately 1½ feet above flood stage midday Sunday.
