Q: Mayor Bloem, you met with planners and other visionaries in Portland? What did they say about locating this project next to sewer plant?

Sandi Bloem: They said you didn’t bring us a problem or challenge. You brought us one of the biggest opportunities we’ve seen. The sewer plant is an enormous asset. You can use it for a number of research classes, including wastewater treatment and water quality. They were very enthused.
