Kennedy, Griffitts Jack Blair MVP and Inspirational

Brittany Kennedy was Most Valuable Player and Griffitts named Most Inspirational during Thursday night’s 15th Jack Blair Memorial Washington/Idaho Girls AAU All-Star Basketball Classic.

Kennedy, from Lewis and Clark’s three-time state champions, led scoring in the Metro All-Stars 74-70 win over Idaho Player of the Year Griffitts’ Region All-Stars.

The game, pitting the area’s best players from neighboring states against each other is named after the late former Central Valley basketball coach, Spokane Stars co-founder and LC administrator, helps fund a scholarship in his memory.

This was the 15th annual game and 15th Metro All-Stars win.
