Mary’s Unhappy About Pachyderm Meeting
At OpenCDA.com,
Mary Souza is unhappy
with the way things went this morning at the
Pachyderm Club breakfast meeting. And she hints that the guest speakers — Mayor Sandi Bloem and Trustees Mic Armon and Judy Meyer — were to blame for using the opportunity to advertise the education corridor while taking so long that only 3 listeners had time to ask questions (including a long-winded question-statement from her at the very end). Mebbe Mary should have trained her considerable ire on Duane Rasmussen for taking time to acknowledge a number of elected officials. And Ron Vieselmeyer for praying so long during the invocation. And the guy who read the light-hearted poem against the education corridor. And the light-hearted banter that consumed even more time. Seems to me that the Pachyderms, chief among others, needed to hear facts — and not rants from perpetually unhappy members. Ron Vieselmeyer’s prayer to open the minds of opponents apparently fell on Mary’s deaf ears.
