Spokane River workshops
A series of public workshops is upon us to update and provide input about the current state of the Spokane River
—-Monday November 17th, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Lakeside Middle School Auditorium, 6169 Highway 291, Nine Mile Falls.
—-Monday November 24th, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., The Community Building Lobby, 35 W. Main Avenue, Spokane.
—-Wednesday December 3rd, 6 to 8 p.m., Post Falls Library, 821 N. Spokane Street, Post Falls, Idaho.
Topics include Avista Dam relicensing, new sewage treatment plant, dissolved oxygen cleanup plan, PCB cleanup plan, flow settings, water rights, Redband Trout, and much more. This event series is sponsored by the Center For Justice, Center for Environmental Law & Policy, Spokane Falls Trout Unlimited, Friends of the Aquifer, and Sierra Club’s Upper Columbia River Group.
