City Park Cop Shop Delivery Wednesday

Starting tomorrow, the Independence Point Parking lot will be closed off at 4:30 a.m. and Sherman Avenue between 1st Street and the 4 -Corners area will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m. to deliver the new public safety building to City Park. Both northbound and southbound traffic will be detoured as the crane and semi-truck make the delivery. Workers ask that the viewing public please stay out of harms way as this self-contained 40,000-pound building is lifted and put into place.
