Digger: TUBOB Does SNL, Tina Fey Debuts Palin

In this photo provided by NBC, actress Tina Fey, left, plays Governor Sarah Palin, and actress Amy Poehler plays Senator Hillary Clinton on “Saturday Night Live” Saturday in New York.
Digger: BREAKING NEWS … Bob just got a mention on Saturday Night Live in the opening skit … A parody of Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton addressing the public, one of the jabs that Hillary took at Sarah was “just ask this one about dinosaurs …” GO BOB! I LOVE YOU MAN! (In a straight type man love, like two guys watching a football game. None of that gay stuff, cuz, you know, that just ain’t right)
Transplanted Texan: I want to be the first to tip my cap to CCD (and Dennis Mansfield). They were right and I, along with just about everyone else on that thread, was wrong: SNL just debuted their Sarah Palin, and it really was a Tina Fey cameo. Like Mansfield predicted, Fey’s Palin was spot-on; I only turned on SNL when my mom hollered from the other room “Oh boy! Saturday Night Live has someone who reeeeally looks like Sarah Palin!” But I am surprised they would go with someone in a cameo role, as good as it might be. That’ll make it hard to sustain it for the whole season, I would think, and especially for the whole term if, heaven forbid, McCain-Palin actually wins.
Question: Who was better — Akroyd? Or Belushi?
