Wild Card/Sunday — 9/21/08

The wood is in and covered. The sprinkler guy has us on the list to blow out the lines in mid-October. The garden’s still producing squash, tomatoes and plenty of roses and other fall flowers. But a freezing frost can’t be too far away, given this fairly cool nights. So I’m slowly getting ready for early winter. Not that winter has been gone that long. I don’t hear anyone complaining about the nice summer we had and autumn that we’re having. I guess there’s a tradeoff there. Now, I’ll play the Wild Card and check in later this morning …
