As far as requiring people to show ID at the polls in order to vote, I
think many election officials will actually support that. It would be
quite a culture shock at first for some and some will likely raise holy
hell with our poor poll workers, but it still seems like something that
is inevitable. We get more and more comments from people who can’t
believe that we don’t already require people to show ID to vote since
it happens for so many other activities.
Question: Should individuals be required to show an identification to vote and to register to vote?
