  • 5:21 p.m. R/P reports a woman in the Garwood Elementary area has shot herself in the chest with a shotgun.
  • 4:24 p.m. R/P reports finding homemade spike strip on Ohio Match Road.
  • 4:04 p.m. An drunk female on St. Emilion Drive is threatening to kill herself.
  • 3 p.m. Mother reports finding cigarettes in the room of her 16YO daughter who’s on a juvenile diversion program.
  • 2:46 p.m. A piece of equipment is on fire at the county landfill on Highway 95.
  • 1:54 p.m. R/P on Lakeland Street/Rathdrum complains that smoke from a neighbor’s outdoor fire is engulfing her house. Update: Police tell homeowner told to “shorten pile” and to take out some things that shouldn’t be burning in there.
  • 1:48 p.m. Worried NIC worker asks if anyone knows why individuals in black shirts are packing firearms on campus. “I don’t know,” he says. “They may be wooden guns.” He’s told that the individuals are part of the North Idaho POST Academy @ NIC.
  • 1:18 p.m. Several windows have been broken out of vehicles on Kidd Island Bay Road.
  • 1 p.m. A semi truck with its hood up is hogging the fog line on I-90 @ M/P 30.
  • 11:32 a.m. R/P reports that someone, possibly a census taker, came onto his property despite the fact that it’s posted against trespassers.

  • 7:59 a.m. A woman wants to see an officer re: a pizza dispute from Sunday.
  • Sunday p.m. Motorcyclist George Mayo, 61, of Spokane was injured when he slid into a car driven by Kaitlin Henderson, 18, of Hayden @ I-90 & Highway 41. ISP report here .
