Walkabout: Dead Deer Left To Rot?
Walkabout: Today I called animal control about a dead deer washed up on a beach on Tubbs
Hill. They said they would call fish and game. When they got back to me they said that they weren’t going to do anything about it. The exact words were, “It’s the circle of life”. I asked if a dead deer was on city beach wouldn’t they remove it? No answer. This a special scenic area that tourists and families visit and despite the cold water I saw people attempting to swim yesterday. Why isn’t a rotting carcass seen as garbage that needs to be removed?
Question: Should the dead deer be left to rot on Tubbs Hill?
