Kage: Whatta Waste Of A Building

Kage Mann: I went to downtown CDA today and I went by the three story brick Spokesman review building.When I drove past, I kept thinking about: what a tragedy to have such a nice,spacious building to only be half occupied, because of layoffs, cutbacks, etc.

DFO: Actually, the building has four stories. All are filled except for the 33% to 40% that once made up the editorial wing of the second floor. Six staffers have moved into the old conference room. The two sports guys and I are on the circulation/advertising side. I have the coolest office space I’ve had since joining the SR 25 years ago. It’s not as good as it once was. But it’s way better than the alternative.
