EOB: Solons OK 3% State Budget Cut
In the Joint Finance & Appropriations Committee this morning, budget writers voted 12-8 on a substitute motion by Sen. Dean Cameron to reduce the state budget by 3 percent instead of 5 percent — and allow agency directors to decide how to make that cut in their departments/Betsy Russell @ Eye On Boise kept track of the motion’s progress here , here , and here .
