High Noon: Enduring Perfectionists
CindyH: I’d like to announce that I just painted my kitchen! You may wonder why this is a big deal, and so I’ll tell you. I’ve never been allowed to paint a room by myself before. I’ve always been the “assistant.” Let’s just say my husband is a bit of a perfectionist, or as he says, “I just like things done right.” Right = His Way.
Question: Are you — or someone in your family — a pefectionist? What is it like living with him? Or her? Or you?
I’d like to announce that I just painted my kichen!

We’ve lived in our home for 15 years and the kitchen has never been painted because “someone” always has more important projects and “someone else” isn’t allowed to touch the painting supplies.
I don’t know what happened, but I’ve been promoted from assistant to painter. At least for now. Rumor has it “someone” may be coming home during his lunch hour to inspect.
Now, might be a good time to take that walk…
