Discarding the long moment in history when humans spoke face to face with the genuine use of audible sounds and symbols, people today spend the majority of their communication staring at their iPhones with furrowed eyebrows stuck in an inane conundrum of how to indicate humor without saying “LOL.” The abuses of this pusillanimous, soundless technological phenomenon has begun to run wild in our chicken-hearted society and may now be a greater threat to our future and education than the “Rachel Maddow Show.” Come on guys, be a man and talk to her after class.
