Cis: ‘I’m Going To Live!’
Cis: First off, when you are in the dr. office and the word cancer is said, every word after that is a blank … one reason why you should have someone there, who can hear the rest of the words …
The worse one I had, years ago, was a test taken on Thurs. and told I would be called Tuesday with the results (after not doing well in the first test) … it was the longest 6 days of my life. I thought I was dealing with it ok … until I got the call from the Dr. on Tuesday morning … I was quiet and walked down a couple houses to my girlfriend’s … just as I entered her yard, I let out a howl … and yelled I’M GOING TO LIVE!!!! … the test came back negative … but it took that long for it to really register. I had prepared myself for the worse so well, it was like I couldn’t believe it for the first 5 minutes or so.
Question: Have you ever experienced an “I’m going to live!” moment?
