Nick: Our Dogs Rode In Back, But …

Nick Adams: Having grown up (ok, maybe just gotten older) in rural Idaho, we always kept our dogs in the bed of the pickup—given that they were working dogs, it didn’t seem to make sense to have them and all the mud, manure and dirt in the rig with us. Now, I’d never put my dog in an uncovered pickup bed. In fact, when I drive North, it always makes me a little sick to my stomach when I’m following someone with their dog in the back of their pickup doing 60 mph up highway 55. Yikes!

Question: How many of you own pickups? What model & how old? Do you have a gun rack and a dog for your pickup, like a true Idahoan should?
