Ephrata Raceway Park Just Three Weeks Away From Opener

Ephrata Raceway Park, located just north of Moses Lake, Wash. is just three weeks out from its 2009 season opener. The track has been running Motocross racing and encourages racers to get their memberships and tires early for the season opener. Check out the lastest courtesy of Rita Witte of Raceway Park.

Racing Season Is Just Around the Corner

Are you ready? Racing season is just around the corner. Motocross has already begun with one more spring race, April 19th. Gates open at 8 am with racing at 11 am.

Let’s hope the weather will hold. As of today the forcast for Sunday looks great.

Saturday, April 18th tires will be sold at the track from 10 am to 2 pm.

Tire prices:

All NuTreads $70 including tax

Hobby tires: $35 includes tax

Street tires: $70

for the Sprints:

RR - $165 + tax

LR - $150 + tax

RF-LF $135 + tax

Hoosier M60 - $145 includes tax

You will also be able to purchase a membership, April 18 th . We have already begun to receive memberships for all classes.

Membership is: Drivers: $50

Crew $25

We accept cash, money orders, and Visa/MC

New items for the season:Transponders on the cars which will do the lineups, points and general activity of the car. A big thank you to Pepsi Cola for our new computerized ticket machine for the front gate, this will help to keep attendance records up to date.

A special thank you to Linda Meyers and Marci Hunter. They have helped to make over 800 trophies, including Motocross. Your help is greatly appreciated. We have also begun our spring clean-up which includes but is not limited to: Painting, painting & seems like more painting. Repairs and improvements. So mark your calendars, May 2nd is the start of the season with the Winged Sprint Car Cast Iron Nationals, Limited Late Models and Youth Hornets.
