Nonini, Hagadone Chat In SoCal

Rep. Bob Nonini, R-Coeur d’Alene, back fresh from a week of golfing in Palm Springs, says there’s no truth to the rumor that he was summoned there by an angry Duane Hagadone over Nonini’s opposition to the Coeur d’Alene Lake Management Plan. “I visited with him for a few hours - it never came up,” Nonini said of the North Idaho resort and newspaper magnate who now makes his home in Palm Springs. “He did talk about 1148, though.” That’s the liquor license reform bill being pushed by Gov.
