Want a Spokane Trader Joe’s outlet?

Excitable people often communicate in clumps, whether that means words in conversation or paragraphs in typing. The resulting messages often run together.

Such is the case with the following bit of excitable copy, forwarded to a number of people by Spokane resident and Trader Joe’s fan John Maurice. Underneath all the rush, however, is a heartfelt message regarding the potential for a Trade Joe’s being built right here in the Lilac City:

“Well, it will happen if we all get involved and let them know that they need to build one here!! I talked to a manager at one of the Trader Joe’s in Seattle and I told him that they NEED to put one in Spokane !!! He said that the subject has come up in meetings several times. He also said Coeur d’Alene looks like the most probable location if it is going to happen. We all know that there is a huge market for a Trader Joe’s here in Spokane , we just have to let them know. They have actually set up a way to do just that. Here’s a link! Just click on the drop down box and choose ‘Location requests.’ C’mon people!! Let’s make it happen. If we don’t let them know that Spokane would be a good market for them, who will? Forward this to fellow Spokanites and let our voices be heard!!!”
