Briefs: Food Stolen From Volunteer
A CdA woman lost her own groceries while she was busy loading food items in and out of the Lake City Community Food Bank, 4th & Spruce, around noon Tuesday. Kim Charchan told CPD Blue that she left her vehicle around noon to go inside the food bank. She left her car unlocked. When she returned to her car 10 minutes later, she noticed her groceries were missing from the back seat. No other items were missing. The victim didn’t see suspicious people in the area. She calculated her loss at $60.
