  • 4:23 p.m. R/P reports seeing a couple cussing and hitting their unrestrained children in a burgundy Intrepid w/Iowa plates in the Bank of America parking lot. The man who owns the vehicle has a long list of criminal activity, including battery and drug use.
  • 3:39 p.m. R/P reports rock from w/b dump truck hit his windshield on I-90, M/P 57 (Wallace area).
  • 3:07 p.m. Report of fire in trees near Thompson Lake & Blue Lake roads/Harrison area turns out to be a USFS control burn.
  • 2:58 p.m. Howard Johnson employee finds 56YO female guest in room sluggish & weak.
  • 1:33 p.m. An elderly man is walking in the median on Highway 95, n/b from Bosanko.
  • 1:11 p.m. Horses are loose @ Trails End & Mallory/Rathdrum area.
  • 1:09 p.m. CPD Blue is checking old Bureau of Land Management building for possible break-in.
  • 12:40 p.m. A possible burglary is taking place on Hudlow & Box Canyon/Post Falls, where man reports a woman is taking his washer & dryer.
  • 12:06 p.m. City Park visitor wants to see an officer re: juvenile problem.
  • 12:01 p.m. Woman on Reservoir Road/Rathdrum area reports seeing and smelling smoke.
  • 11:47 a.m. Lowe’s employees call for an ambulance for a 30ish male with a deep laceration on his wrist. They are trying to control the bleeding.
  • 9:10 a.m. Fire from a burn barrel has ignited a grass fire in the Kidd Island Bay area.
  • 8:56 a.m. Lee Hall elevator at NIC isn’t working.
  • 8:52 a.m. ISP trooper is trying to catch up to a truck pulling a boat that almost hit a coupla other vehicles @ I-90 & Sherman Avenue.
  • 8:44 a.m. Stanley Wells, 54, of Spokane Valley, sustained fatal injuries when his motorcycle crashed on Highway 54 from Good Hope Road at 2:16 p.m. Sunday. He died at 2:30 this morning. ISP report here .
