Don’t defend squirrels

The Spokesman-Review

Have you ever seen a horse, a cow and even a human that has injured a leg, shoulder, etc., from a tumble because of holes and tunnels? It is bad to take a fall with the horse under you when the ground is full of tunnels.

Have you ever gone out into a grain field that has big mounds of dirt and that has big patches where the ground squirrels have eaten your crop?

Just wait till these flea- and worm-carrying critters come to your yard, garden, fruit trees, raspberries around your house – you think pocket gophers are bad?

And don’t trap and transport them out into the country! No. No.
