Briefs: Ironman Helps Community

Over the past six years, North America Sports, owner of Ford Ironman, has contributed more than $180,000 to the Coeur d’Alene community, which is distributed to a variety of area organizations.  Over $15,000 a year goes to volunteer groups that help at various aid stations throughout the bike/run course, as well as to volunteers who help during the Ironman Event.  In addition, North America Sports donates $15, 000 a year in grant funding through the Ford Ironman Coeur d’Alene Community Fund to groups that promote healthy activities for local youth/ Coeur d’Alene Today .
