Bent: Haunted By ‘Cat’s In The Cradle’

Bent: “Cat’s in the cradle and the silver spoon/Little boy blue and the man on the moon/When you coming home dad…I don’t when/But we’ll get together then, yeah/You know we’ll have good time then …” DFO, after all my days (and nights) working in the newspaper business, this song haunts me. My kids’ biggest complaint growing up was that I was never home. So far, I have been lucky with both my oldest children living close by. I just hope they don’t grow up to be “just like me…” (Excuse me while I go hug my last two kids.)
