  • 4:56 p.m. Update: Avista has turned the power off @ the Cedar’s parking lot, where a downed power line knocked a propane tank on its side. Also, workers have fixed the propane leak. Bt they’re still working on leak caused by the transformer landing in Lake Coeur d’Alene.
  • 4:42 p.m. R/P is worried that high winds may cause a sole handler with a hose to lose control of a large slash-pile burn @ 25976 Riverview (& Signal Point)
  • 4:03 p.m. Neighbor reports a pitbull is running loose — again — on Walrose Loop/Hayden.
  • 3:46 p.m. Update: Command chief @ Cedar’s is asking for KCSD marine unit to shuttle people at the restaurant back to the shore. KCSD responds: “Unless there’s some kind of medical emergency, it’ll be about 45 minutes to an hour.”
  • 3:27 p.m. A power pole @ Cedar’s restaurant has fallen in the parking lot, hitting a propane tank on the way down. Power lines are down. And the tank appears to be leaking propane.
  • 2:45 p.m. A 68YO woman is unconscious @ Miller’s Market, 31934 5th Ave., checkstand 2.

  • 1:52 p.m. Deputy to speak to Timberlake Middle Schooler who was caught w/alcohol & tobacco he stole from an American Legion post.
  • 1:28 p.m. Jerry of Jerry’s Barber @ 9667 Government Way reports that a trailer is blocking his delivery entrance.
  • 1:21 p.m. Elderly person in 3800 block of 3rd Street/CdA reports via Lifeline that caregiver has passed out.
  • 1:01 p.m. R/P reports she lost visual contact w/a woman in blue jeans and long, dark hair who stole several items from her, in the parking lot of Skippers.
  • 12:33 p.m. Tenant @ 910 Tubbs Gate Place reports that a noxious smell in his apartment has caused his nose to tingle.
  • 12:10 p.m. Passing motorist reports he can see smoke coming from green metal building on the east side of Government Way, south of Hanley Avenue, CdA.
