ITHO: Idaho Must Outshout Aryans

Butler (photo) is dead, but unfortunately, his legacy lingers. Some Butler followers want to hijack Idaho and reclaim it as their world headquarters for hatred. Group leaders won’t say how many members they have recruited. But an Associated Press story about the recruiting efforts quickly got picked up across the region and as far away as the New York Times and the Boston Globe. In an age of Web links and social media, a story can move rapidly. And that means we cannot afford complacency. Idaho needs to speak up, proactively, forcefully and swiftly.
