Snyder is refreshing

The Spokesman-Review

Spokane’s City Council appointed Michael Allen to the office he will now have to secure at the polls. Being the incumbent and the downtown insider, he might well gain the establishment’s funding and have the initial advantage.

That gentleman appears to be more qualified for the job than four of the five other candidates with whom he is currently competing. I’m told that he is the “smart-money bet.”

Even so, my vote will go to Jon Snyder, the low-budget, high-energy fellow who has been out door-belling in the neighborhoods with telling effect. He is unquestionably bright, knowledgeable and dedicated. This industrious and altogether engaging fellow springs from the newly revitalized heart of our community, Peaceful Valley.

Jon has done and continues to do his homework. He is well prepared to represent our citizenry in a refreshingly open manner.

Meet him. Search him out. When you learn his positions and qualities, you’ll likely want to help him win the thankless job that most of us would never seek.
