That question comes with a warning from a North Idaho couple who rented out a home they own in the Greenside Vistas subdivision in Post Falls. Gineen Bertram and her husband Travis own Bertram Construction Incorporated. They built and sold homes until the real estate market took a dive. To help pay the bills they decided to rent an investment property, a three bedroom home they built in four-and-a-half months. They say that it took only two months for a renter to trash it.
