Offer federal plan to all

The Spokesman-Review

I wish Sens. Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray and Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers would give the American people, or at least the ones here legally, the same health care plan they have given to themselves.

We want the same coverages and co-pays (if any) that all senators and representatives have. If this is not possible, then the lawmakers should introduce legislation to terminate their health care plan so they can have the experience of searching and obtaining health insurance like the rest of us. They should insist that all senators and representatives be a part of any plan that is passed by the Congress.

If this Congress passes some expensive, wasteful and bureaucratic plan and still keeps a better plan for themselves, the American people should replace (fire) the entire Congress and start again with all new representatives.
