Hump Day Wild Card — 12.2.09

I’ll be turning over the controls of HBO Central to CindyH for a few hours today — from 11:15 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m. The class of 1984 — the staffers who joined the SR in 1984 — will be honored for 25 years of service with a nice lunch in downtown Spokane. I get a gift, too. It’s been a long, mostly good ride to this point (although the last 8 years have been taxing as the newspaper industry began its struggles to survive). My career hits the 40-year mark in 2010. Dunno how much longer I’ll be doing this. But it’s still a fun ride. I guess I’ll get off this bucking bronco when it’s no longer fun to show up for work.
