HBO Poll: Speeding Tickets

A retired police officer from Lewiston who was given a $75 speeding ticket two years ago has had the citation thrown out in court. David Estes fought the speeding ticket all the way to the Idaho Court of Appeals. • Wednesday Poll: 63 of 94 (67 percent) respondents said that Councilman Mike Kennedy would have sought a recount but nothing else had he lost to challenger Jim Brannon by 5 votes. Only 2 of 94 said Kennedy would have sued to annul the election as Brannon has.
