Few could handle officers’ job

The Spokesman-Review

With the police murders in the news, it’s about time we start to show a little appreciation for our own police officers. I know a couple of them have shown bad judgment and have done something stupid, but how about the other 99.5 percent of wonderful officers?

They really do put their lives on the line in a very dangerous job and I wonder if we value them? We most certainly should. Could you do what they do? So many people are on drugs and will do anything – steal, lie, even murder – for drugs. Wake up, people.
