Georges To Hold Kennedy Fundraiser

Huckleberries has learned that Kootenai County Demo chief Thom George and his wife, Melinda, 3948 Magnuson St., are hosting a fund-raiser for Councilman Mike Kennedy, to help defray legal expenses from Jim Brannon’s challenge. Walt Minnick will be the guest speaker at the event, which will take place from 10 to 11 Saturday morning. In a release to supporters, George said: ” Bring along $20, $50, or $100 – whatever you can afford — as we will be passing the hat for Councilman Mike Kennedy — who is facing a legal challenge after this year’s election.
