More Info: Mitchell filed the disqualification order on Friday, and on Monday Judge Charles Hosack was assigned the case. … “I don’t know anything about the case, I don’t know anything that would require me to self (disqualify),” Hosack said. “I don’t plan on it.” Officials in Mitchell’s chambers said Mitchell could not comment on a case that was no longer under his watch, but the disqualification order states Mitchell “knows and has past and/or present and ongoing relationships with: Jim Brannon … Mike Kennedy, John Bruning and Mayor Sandi Bloem.”
