Panic starts in Montevideo

Five minutes ago the movie that was intriguing everyone was Oren Peli ‘s “Paranormal Activity.” Before that the taste of the moment of Neill Blomkamp ‘s “District 9.”

Now the film that is attracting attention is a less-than-five-minute short by a Uraguayan filmmaker named Fede Alvarez. It’s called “Panic Attack,” and you can r ead about it and its creator here . Thanks to my brother-in-law, Steve Baker, for telling me about it.
