Start by respecting life

The Spokesman-Review

It seems to me that gun control is not the answer to the murders in this country. We need to start teaching people to respect life. I am not surprised that people have no respect for life. We murder more unborn children than any other country in the world. We have a president that feels it is OK to murder an unborn child right up to birth. We have states that say it is OK to help somebody kill themselves legally.

Our present administration feels that we need to take the guns away when in reality we need to start respecting all life. When people stop respecting life, we have drive-by shootings and people getting killed for something as senseless as a pair of shoes.

When people respect something, they do not destroy it. The respect for life needs to start with the White House and work its way down. Unfortunately, I don’t think that is going to happen.
