Reverse Discrimination

In my debate class at school, next week we’re going to be discussing the topic of Reverse Discrimination. If you are unfamiliar with this term, the dictionary definition is as follows: “(in the context of the allocation of resources or employment) the practice or policy of favoring individuals belonging to groups known to have been discriminated against previously.” A good example of this is college admission. A TIMES story was written many years back, about this very thing. Feel free to read it here. So, I’d like to hear your thoughts on the matter. Is reverse discrimination prevalent in our society?
