Effort led to high pay

The Spokesman-Review

When are the “sheep” (electorate) going to wake up and notice where the “shepherds” (government) are leading them? I am amused and frightened by the comments of the “sheep” that the media bombards us with constantly. That the comments reveal stupidity and hypocrisy doesn’t seem to reduce the “sheep’s” desire to continue uttering them.

Today, it’s the compensation of CEOs. Is there any denouncer who, being in the position of a highly paid CEO, would really reject all the money and perks? Of course not. The fact that most highly paid people studied hard, worked hard and succeeded never enters the mind of the “sheep.” The media is guilty of carrying the message delivered by the “shepherd” in order to keep the “hate the rich” frenzy going. By doing so, the issue of class warfare deflects scrutiny of our “shepherds’ ” activities.

Does there exist a single person that truly trusts and will rely on the wisdom and agenda of either the “sheep” or the “shepherds”?
