Attack on Bush getting old

The Spokesman-Review

Bob Wynhausen’s diatribe (“Quick-draw critics,” Letters, Feb. 15) is a revealing sign of what’s to come as Obama fails miserably trying to deliver on the outrageous promises he made during the campaign. Whenever Count Barackula “screws up,” he only needs to drag Bush and Cheney out of the old toy box and bang them around until his Obamatons feel better.

But it won’t work forever, as the fear-mongering messiah will eventually have to take responsibility for his inability to fill even Bush’s shoes. At least Bush kept us safe, while Biden has already warned us of an impending attack and our president is now the Chicken Little of the next Great Depression.

So where’s all the “hope”? And only one day went by before Bush was challenged. He was immediately accused of stealing the 2000 election and has been hated by liberals ever since.

“Mission Accomplished” was just that; Saddam’s dictatorship was gone and a fledgling democracy exists in its place. We won. Deal with it.
